What yonder fire laundered me and freed me from captivity?
Oh Pluto’s burn
was all I yearned
before I knew it
she was me
I changed into a mermaid, see?
These gills can fill my lungs
with peace
I’ll swim with Chiron
and his dream
a cross bent back
will straighten up
The fire’s in my sacred cup
called love
my heart bleeds glee and joy
I’m with you till I go and
die
